About Franziska
Music plays an important role in many people's lives and I think it's never too late to start playing an instrument.
For me personally, making music means taking time for myself, dealing with myself and finding peace. It can also mean friends and company as you are able to play in ensembles and have a lot of fun through that.
For me, making music is one of the most valuable experiences in my life and I would like everyone to have this experience.
What I find very exciting about teaching is that every student is different and has different needs. Most of the time it's not only the student who learns something, but I also learn from the student.

I have been teaching piano and singing for more than ten years. I first studied piano instrumental pedagogy and then switched to studying singing. I am currently in my final year at the Royal Academy of Music. I have therefore taken many courses on pedagogy and didactics and have a lot of fun teaching children (and also older people) how to sing or play the piano.
It is important for me to work in a concentrated way and still create an atmosphere with a lot of fun and humour. I usually arrange my lessons in such a way that warm-up and technique exercises are done first and then the repertoire is worked on.
In doing so, I definitely want to respond to the students and focus on what they want to learn. However, I also have literature that allows me to proceed in a structured way and generally just take the student further.
Lessons can take place online, at your home or at my home (near Kings Cross). For a lesson at your place, I would charge an additional 5 pounds for travel.
I look forward to working with you and passing on my enjoyment of music.
