About Pipa
My name is Pipa, and I’m a 23-year-old professional singer with almost 15 years of vocal training and musical education, with a strong focus on technique, interpretation, and emotional expression.
My journey began at just seven years old, when I first started singing lessons, and music has been a constant in my life ever since. From competing on The Voice Portugal at 16 to pursuing higher education and releasing my own music, my passion for music has always been one of the defining aspects of who I am.
I hold an undergraduate degree in Jazz Vocals and Modern Music and a Master’s degree in Songwriting. Throughout my studies, I continued to develop as both a vocalist and a songwriter, releasing an album and writing and co-producing a second project, which will be released soon.
My musical background spans R&B, Soul, Pop, and Jazz, drawing inspiration from some of the most technically skilled and emotionally expressive vocalists, including Tori Kelly, Ariana Grande, and Jazmine Sullivan.
Having always been someone who deeply values human connection, teaching is something I’ve long wanted to explore. I believe singing is about much more than hitting the right notes - it’s about understanding your voice, developing confidence, expressing emotions, and discovering your own artistic identity. I want to help each student develop their technique while learning to trust their instincts and enjoy the process of making music.
Throughout my academic journey, I consistently strived for excellence, graduating as the top student in my year. I bring that same dedication, curiosity, and commitment to continuous improvement to my teaching, creating a supportive environment where singers of all levels can develop their skills, explore their potential, and grow in confidence.
