About Olga
I am a professionally trained singer with over 20 years of experience as a performer of classical music in Canada and London. Highlights of my professional career include having recorded on the Naxos label with a Grammy nominated chamber choir, performed with the choir at Carnegie Hall in New York, and sung for Queen Elizabeth with a professional church choir during a Royal visit to Canada. I now reside in Lynton, North Devon (UK) where I share a home studio with my partner, who is also an accomplished musician and experienced teacher of fiddle, guitar and other instruments.

I believe that singing should always feel good, without any unnecessary strain or stress on the voice, and that singing which feels good will also sound great regardless of the style of the music. A typical lesson (normally 45 minutes) begins with a good vocal warmup at the piano where we explore exercises carefully chosen and targeted to develop technical skills such as breathing, vocal onset, agility and range, followed by applying the skills to refine the performance of one or two songs.

Details
The above rates assume a one hour lesson: the rates will be adjusted pro rata for 45 minute lessons. I will charge an additional 5 pounds for every lesson which would require me to drive to your home; this additional service will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
