About Adrian
My name is Adrian Parsons. I have been teaching for over 10 years. I trained at the Royal Academy of Music and sang professionally for a number of years. I now concentrate on teaching and coaching aspiring singers. I have taught at a number of musical theatre colleges (I currently teach at the London Studio Centre in North Finchley) and am aware of the vocal resilience needed to sustain a career as a singer. Therefore, I understand the importance of secure technique and encourage choices that help to maintain good vocal health. I live and work in East Finchley, North London.

Lessons are 1 hour. This allows for a warm-up and technical focus and enough time to work on repertoire or your chosen song. I teach all levels from beginners to aspiring professionals and working singers. Your first lesson will be an opportunity for me to understand what it is you want to work on and how you want to develop and improve as a singer and performer. Perfect! I had a fantastic lesson with Adrian. He really tailored his approach to my needs and insecurities. I found his way of helping me visualise my how body moves when I sing really informative and helpful.

Excellent! Adrian is very patient and kind. Which is important as a beginner to piano. He also showed me the basics, regarding chords progression a bit about reading music and how to place your hands on the keyboard (which I didn't even think about). I would highly recommend Adrian.

Adrian is a great vocal and singing coach. Our lessons are really good fun - a mixture of warm-up and exercises to check technique and then going through chosen songs/original material. He is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and always gives constructive feedback. The lessons are also great value and held in a beautiful, peaceful location. Highly recommended!
