About Zahra
I am a singer songwriter, backing vocalist and musical director.
I have worked on productions across the rhythm and blues and musical theatre genres and performed in shows spanning pop, jazz, soul, classical, rock and musical theatre.
The training I have received for classical and musical theatre repertoire has given me a strong technical understanding of the voice and its capabilities. I truly believe that the voice is a muscle that you can train like any other, and that anyone can learn to sing the material they want!
I focus on expanding range, implementing exercises to improve pitch, tone, register, and vocal agility. I am a passionate singer and soul music lover but I really enjoy teaching and helping people to reach their musical potential.
I am also confident in training performance techniques and happy working with first-time performers to build their confidence.
