About Nicolò
I take teaching seriously and approach each lesson with care and professionalism. Before every class, I prepare the material in advance so that the lesson is clear, focused, and adapted to the student’s needs. I also choose my lessons responsibly: I only accept requests on topics that I am fully confident I can teach thoroughly and accurately. My name is Nicolò, and I offer lessons in mathematics and physics for undergraduate and graduate students, including students at master’s level. My teaching approach is based on clarity, rigour, and adaptation to the specific needs of each student. I believe that strong understanding comes not only from learning formulas and techniques, but also from developing intuition and learning how to think through a problem independently.
A typical lesson usually begins with a quick review of the relevant theory, followed by guided examples and exercises. I pay close attention to the points that create difficulty and try to explain them from different angles until they become clear. Depending on the student’s goals, lessons can focus on exam preparation, homework support, strengthening foundations, or exploring more advanced topics in greater depth.
What sets me apart is my academic background and my experience with higher-level mathematics. I completed my studies at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa and I am currently a PhD student in Pure Mathematics at SISSA. I also have experience teaching material at master’s level (tutor for ICTP Diploma), so I am comfortable helping students both with core university courses and with more advanced subjects.
My lessons are especially suitable for university students looking for precise explanations in subjects such as calculus, algebra, geometry, linear algebra, mathematical methods for physics, and more advanced areas of pure mathematics.
