I have taught Rupert since he was a student in year 8. He is a cheerful, confident and personable young man with a keen mathematical mind.
As an individual I have found him to be polite and courteous at all times, with a willingness to engage in conversation outside our shared academic interests. He is punctual in his attendance and always completes assignments on time.
As a mathematician he has the ability to grasp quite challenging concepts and be able to apply them. I have been particularly impressed with his use of mathematical language; he is able to articulate his understanding both in writing and verbally.
Compared to many of his peers Rupert possesses a more mature attitude to work in general. He clearly understands the importance of communication and meeting deadlines.
