About Yanis
Hi my name is Yanis and I am 18 years old. Please don't let my age throw you off. This is my first time professionally teaching skateboarding yet I have constantly been helping and mentoring my friends when they started skateboarding and do the same to young people I see at the skate park. I skate around 4-5 times a week and my goal when I go, every single time, is to try and learn something new. I get the same adrenaline rush seeing someone learn something new/progress as when I do it myself. I've also completed a certified first aid training course to ensure safety during the lessons. I start my lessons by seeing at which level of skateboarding you are currently at and then asking you what you would like to learn/improve on today.
I am glad to help you learn tricks of your own choosing yet I can also suggest tricks if you are stuck on choosing/deciding on a trick. I am happy to hold you by your arms if you are struggling with something but I am also fine with you trying the trick a couple of times before I start giving advice helping.
Lesson run time is normally 1 hour to an hour and a half
