About Meritee
As a violin instructor with 20 years of experience, I have had the opportunity to teach school students, college students, and working professionals with diverse learning goals. I am passionate about helping students grow both musically and personally.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, adaptability, and encouragement. I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance and support. Therefore, I customize my lessons to suit each student's needs and pace.
Over the years, I have successfully helped many students improve their musical abilities and gain confidence in their performances. One of my most rewarding achievements has been watching students become passionate and dedicated musicians.
I aim to create engaging and enjoyable lessons that inspire students to reach their full potential and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.

My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, encouragement, and support. I understand that every student progresses at a different speed, so I create lessons that are flexible and tailored to individual needs.
During violin lessons, I emphasize posture, bowing techniques, finger coordination, rhythm, and note reading. I believe strong fundamentals are essential for long-term growth, and I ensure students understand each concept before moving forward.
I provide constructive feedback and encourage students to develop consistent practice habits. I believe that positive reinforcement helps students gain confidence and enjoy the learning process.
Besides violin, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, and rhythm exercises. These subjects help students build stronger musical foundations and improve their overall abilities.
My goal is to inspire students to become confident musicians and lifelong learners.
