About Zion
I am an enthusiastic flute tutor with 12+ years of experience in teaching students of all levels. I have successfully guided around 150 students, helping them build strong musical skills and confidence. My students include beginners who are just starting, as well as learners who want to improve their technique and performance.
My teaching approach is student-centred, focusing on communication, creativity, and flexibility. I understand that each student has different learning needs, so I adjust my teaching style accordingly. I ensure that students develop a solid foundation in breath control, finger coordination, tone production, and rhythm.
I also encourage creativity by introducing small musical exercises and improvisation ideas. This helps students enjoy the learning process and stay motivated. I keep my lessons interactive and engaging so that students remain interested and confident.
One of my key strengths is patience and the ability to explain concepts in a simple and clear way. I support students step by step, helping them overcome challenges and improve gradually. I also guide students in basic music theory and performance techniques.
My goal is to make flute learning easy, enjoyable, and meaningful, while helping students develop a deep connection with music.

My approach to teaching flute combines Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to provide an inspiring and structured learning experience. I begin by understanding each student’s abilities, goals, and learning pace so I can tailor lessons accordingly.
I motivate students by encouraging regular practice, setting small achievable goals, and acknowledging their progress. Communication plays a central role, helping students grasp techniques like breath control, finger placement, posture, and tone production clearly.
With integrity, I focus on building strong fundamentals and guiding students honestly. Creativity allows me to make lessons engaging through music exercises, songs, and interactive activities. In addition to flute, I also teach music basics such as rhythm, scales, and ear training to enhance overall learning.
