About Vera
I’m a Mathematics tutor and a student of the University of Lagos, currently studying Mathematics.
I have over 4 years of experience in home tutoring, working with lower and upper primary pupils as well as junior secondary students. I help students understand concepts clearly, build confidence, and improve their performance in Math.
My teaching style is simple and practical, I break topics down in a way students can easily relate to, and I make sure they truly understand before moving on.
I’m patient, committed, and focused on helping each student build a strong foundation in Mathematics.

I believe every student can understand Mathematics when it is broken down the right way.
In my private tutoring, I focus on building strong foundations, not just helping students pass exams. I take time to understand each student’s pace, strengths, and struggles, then I simplify concepts until they truly “get it.”
I create a comfortable learning space where students can ask questions freely, make mistakes, and grow in confidence. My goal is not just improvement in grades, but helping students develop interest, discipline, and independent thinking in their studies.
