About Sharthak
Hi, I’m Sharthak — a dedicated UK online GCSE Maths tutor with a real passion for helping students grow in confidence and achieve their best. I’ve spent the past three years tutoring with GoStudent and MyTutor, supporting learners of all abilities and adapting my teaching style to what each student needs. I have a BSc in Environmental Engineering and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham, which means I bring both strong mathematical knowledge and real-world problem-solving skills into my lessons. I achieved AAB in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry at Invicta Grammar School. Outside of tutoring, I’m into science fiction movies and series, anime, basketball, boxing, gym and travelling — interests that help me stay curious, energetic, and open-minded. I bring this same approach to my teaching, aiming to make maths feel engaging, relatable, and less intimidating. Students describe me as patient, clear, and supportive. My goal is always to help you understand why something works, not just how to get the answer, so you can build long-term confidence in your maths skills.

My Tutoring Approach I use a clear and supportive method to help students gain confidence in GCSE Maths. Each lesson begins with a short warm-up to review previous topics. I introduce new concepts with simple, step-by-step examples, then we work through a worksheet together. If the student gets stuck, I give guided hints to help them think independently. Lesson Structure Lessons are 50 minutes, focused and tailored to steady progress. Experience & Qualifications I have three years of online tutoring experience with GoStudent and MyTutor. I hold a BSc in Environmental Engineering and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham. I achieved AAB in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry at Invicta Grammar School. Who My Lessons Are For I teach GCSE Maths students aged 11–16, supporting learners who want to improve grades, prepare for exams, or strengthen key topics.
