About Mhairi
Hi, I’m Mhairi and I’ve been working in the beauty and aesthetics industry for over 10 years. I specialise in advanced skin and aesthetic treatments and have had the privilege of working in some of Scotland’s top medical aesthetic clinics. As an experienced educator and practitioner, I bring both clinical knowledge and hands-on expertise to my teaching. My areas of specialisation include laser hair removal and electrolysis, with a focus on NHS-provided treatments for transgender women. I am also BABTAC-certified in treating skin of colour and have developed a strong reputation as a rosacea expert. In addition to clinical aesthetics, I’m trained in holistic therapies—including massage, aromatherapy, and spa treatments—which allows me to offer a well-rounded, client-centred approach to beauty and wellness. I also teach a range of core beauty services such as manicures, pedicures, lash lifts, eyebrow mapping and tinting, and facial electrical treatments like microcurrent, radio frequency, and high frequency. My goal as an educator is to empower beauty professionals with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills they need to deliver exceptional results—and build thriving, ethical practices.
