About Anita
I currently teach forensic psychology and business psychology at a summer school for international students at Gonville & Caius.
I have previously been employed as a senior lecturer at Oxford Brookes University, at the University of London, at the University of Wollongong, and at the University of New South Wales, teaching psychology and social psychology to a range of students, in particular those studying medicine, occupational therapy, and nursing. I have also done a wide range of private tutoring to A-level students, many of whom went on to study psychology and sociology at university.

I teach psychology, sociology, economics, and history at A-level.
As I have had an extensive career in teaching, spanning two decades and three continents (in Canada, Australia, and the UK), I am well-practiced at highlighting connections between these related subjects. It is my experience that students who are studying two or more of these topics benefit greatly from an integrated approach.
My lessons are tailored to the individual needs of students, addressing weaknesses that may have been missed in a larger classroom setting.
I particularly focus on answering former questions in set papers and essay writing technique, providing dialogue where necessary, but attempting to build the confidence of the student.
I also have extensive experience teaching students with disabilities, and I have worked as a psychologist at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, specialising in children with ADHD and autism.
