My teaching method is to go through the basic information with the student, then look at past exam questions and look to how we should answer them, both separately and together. I am very calm and understanding and would only want to make the person I am tutoring feel comfortable. I am open to whatever the student would like to look at and if they have new ways in which they feel they learn best.
I am currently at the University of Birmingham studying Sociology and Social Policy. I took Sociology, Psychology, Religious Studies and English Literature for A-Level and I achieved ABBC. At GCSE, I achieved 2 A*s in Art & Design and Religious Studies, 7 A's in English Literature, English Language, Maths, Geography, Food Technology, Physics and Religious Education, and 1 B in Biology. I would be happy to help in one or any of these subjects.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the lesson, then you will be charged £10. However if it is an emergency situation which causes you to cancel, you will not be charged.
I am currently studying JH Sociology & Social Policy at the University of Birmingham, and I am half way through my second year. During my first year, I have been a part of the breast cancer awareness society, run by the national charity ‘Coppafeel’. I was chosen as the social secretary and I have the responsibility of organising fundraising events and being in control of the social media platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram, with the aim to raise the fundamental message of breast cancer awareness. My degree is very people-based, understanding and accepting different behaviours and attitudes, as well as learning how they are influenced and changed. I believe these are valuable life skills that are essential in any career as well as day-to-day life. I also have an enthusiasm for fashion and design, and I believe my artistic flare will be beneficial especially in the field of media and advertising.
I attended Spalding High School from 2010 to 2017, starting at the secondary school and continuing into the sixth form. During my time at Spalding, I completed my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award, which consisted of 3 months volunteering at my local sports club, 3 months of a new sport, in which I chose netball and 6 months learning how to play the piano. The award also included a three-day expedition in Derbyshire walking, orienteering, map reading and team building. My Duke of Edinburgh experience taught me about leadership and teamwork, and how to think on my feet when things don’t always go to plan. I used to waitress for events at my local rugby club, where I learnt many valuable skills such as working in a team and how to engage with customers on a professional level. I also completed two weeks work experience at John Lewis, from which I received extremely positive feedback about my customer service and friendliness towards everyone in the store. I am quick to learn new skills and always happy to help someone who seems to be struggling.
