About Sabrina
I am a passionate musician with a love for learning! I am a patient, qualified teacher with QTS, who will listen to all of your needs and tailor each lesson so that you get the most of of your time with me. I have been teaching violin and music theory privately for the past 8 years, to both adults and children of all ages.

I am a qualified music teacher offering violin lessons at my home in Shirley, Solihull. Whether you are working towards ABRSM/Trinity exams, getting ready for upcoming performances, or would like to learn for a bit of fun, I will tailor to your needs!
Qualifications and experience:
I qualified as a secondary school music teacher in 2022. I have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and am fully DBS checked. I have taught KS3, GCSE and A Level music at King Edward's VI Handsworth Grammar School, Bishop Vesey's Grammar School and Kings Norton Boy’s School.
For several years, I worked as a peripatetic violin teacher for Birmingham's music service, Services for Education, teaching violin in a variety of 1:1, small group and whole class settings.
I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2019 with a Bachelor's in Music (2:1) and from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2020 with a Postgraduate Diploma in Orchestral Conducting (Distinction). I obtained my QTS status and Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the King Edwards Consortium, accredited by the University of Birmingham.

Perfect! Sabrina is such a wonderful teacher - I'd absolutely recommend her!
She's so good at playing, so understanding, always articulates her feedback/advice so well and with super clear reasoning, and gives clear practicable instructions on how to fix playing errors etc.
It's crazy how even over zoom calls she can see/hear where I'm going wrong instantly and give such good feedback!
