About Nicolas
Hello! I’m Nicolas Lin, a Brown University student and award-winning violinist with over a decade of solo and chamber performance experience at venues like Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. As a dedicated mentor—having coached emerging players through Music-Ally.org and served as junior faculty for Elite Academy—I combine structured, goal-oriented lesson plans with patient, personalized feedback. Whether you’re just starting out or preparing for auditions, I’ll help you build solid technique, deepen your musical understanding, and gain the confidence to shine.

- Teach technique and the various nuances of playing based on the piece/the student's performance

- I have been teaching violin students for over 4 years, in addition to being a successful soloist with years of competitive experience and dozens of solo appearances with orchestras in venues like Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.
