About Amy
I am a journalism undergraduate with A-levels in politics, English and history. I've worked as a freelance writer and researcher for several local news outlets as well as a copy editor for a travel and photography magazine. I have experience as a peer tutor from my time at college and am looking to help students with both basic and higher level English, politics or journalism studies.

My teaching method is to engage students with the inherently interesting qualities of their chosen subject. I've found that, especially in higher education, being able to give your own interpretations, opinions and thinking outside the box are what make good grades excellent grades. I support students with the basics of essay structure, grammar or literary techniques in order to give them the building blocks they need to create something they will be proud to add to their portfolio.
