About Sophie
I’m a student with a passion for the French language and culture, and Classics (the subject). I want to help those with a zest for learning, as well as those who struggle or are in need of guidance (especially those with impending examinations; I’ve been there and have felt the stress!). In my lessons I don’t only aim to help you academically, but also to make the learning process enjoyable.

Hi, I’m Sophie, your potential French tutor! I’m a current student about to enter my first year at Oxford to read Classics. Having recently received an A* in French at A-level, I can help you improve your French, whether you’re a complete beginner, in the midst of GCSE (any exam board) or at A-level (grammar for any exam board). Lessons would be suited to your needs, which we can discuss, whether you’d like to improve fluency while speaking, or there’s a grammar construction that doesn’t seem to stick with you. As is mandatory for A-level, I can help with discussions on French culture, history and literature. I can also offer revision sessions on No et Moi and Les Choristes (eduqas A-level) and guidance for the IRP (independent research project)
