About Rithu
I am a 15-year-old sophomore, and as said previously I love hanging out with younger students! In my free time I love to dance, draw, play video games, and hang out with my friends and family! I have two dogs, a silly golden retriever, Athena, who just turned one, and a cuddly maltese, Snowy, who is going to be 10 in August! I am Indian by ethnicity, but was born and grew up in America. I have a younger sister who will be in seventh grade, Anshu, and my two parents, Prashanthi and Shashi. I have a 4.0 GPA and am dedicated to my studies, clubs, and extracurricular. I greatly look forward to meeting you and the student(s)!

I use a range of different teaching and learning strategies to engage students and so they are learning in an effective and enjoyable manner. I always reward the students for their hard work, and work with them in a friendly manner (ex. conversing about things that they enjoy, praise them for getting a question right, and cheering them up and motivating them when they struggle with a question). I want the kids to feel encouraged, excited, and happy that they are going to/are learning new material! Younger students can be full of cheer, be witty, and get along with older students in a way that makes the older students feel proud and want to make them happy! I have experience with my younger sister, my younger cousins who live nearby, and all the elementary schoolers at Indian Spring’s Y-Club that I volunteer and make arts & crafts with! I have been in the students footsteps in learning in an environment outside of school, and want tomake it as enjoyable rewarding as possible for them!
