About Marica
I am a Maths: Subject Leader teaching in Further Education. I have been teaching GCSE and FS maths for 2 years however have been in many roles in education for 13 years. Love helping my students achieve their best!

I have a degree in Learning and Teaching and believe that a simple, clear structure to my lessons can support my students and to show them where how to gain full marks in exams. Additionally, I have maths based qualifications and am finalising my current course which is a DTLLS that has given further knowledge into teaching older students and how different learning theories can support individuals meet their targets.
I find that using past exam style questions as starters and plenaries can really benefit my students as they are able to practice key skills learnt throughout the lesson. However, when private tutoring, the lesson is dependable upon the needs of the individuals. I am confident in catering to different needs as everyone learns in their own way which I will ensure is looked after and put first.
