About Maryjo
Language learning started for me as a way to connect deeply with the songs I performed. Most people assume that grammar is the hardest part, but it is actually the culture.
I have taught 290 students to navigate verb conjugation and listening practice with ease. My BMus background helps me teach accent and intonation with a musical ear.
We cover travel Spanish, reading comprehension, and cultural context. I also help you with vocabulary building, writing skills, business Spanish, and interview preparation. I value clarity and directness in every interaction. I am always happy to discuss how music informs my linguistic approach.

My lessons apply the same discipline I gained during my BMus degree to your language acquisition. You will practice listening and speaking in every session.
