I encourage mistakes in the learning process because it helps us grow as well as builds our confidence as we improve our language skills. I enjoy working with children of all backgrounds because I love to learn about different cultures and new perspectives. As an education major, I have experience in various classrooms and have created lessons that accommodate various student needs.

I believe that actively using a foreign language is the best way to acquire it. I like to incorporate a lot of speaking into my lessons and have my students be active participants therefore minimizing my lecture time. I have worked with elementary school English learners and have taught Spanish to middle and high schoolers. I have studied in Spain for 9 months which allows me to hone in on Spanish culture and differentiate between Spanish dialects.
