About Lauren
Hi! I am a media production and Spanish graduate working in video production. I have such a passion for languages and believe it is so valuable to learn a second language! I've studied Spanish for around 9 years to degree level. I have a year's worth of experience teaching English in a Spanish primary school as well as private one to one home tutoring classes with Spanish children learning English. I am looking to do the reverse and teach the language I love to students here in England.

Depending on the language level I am teaching and age of the student, I will cater to each individual on how they like to learn- whether that be with school books, videos and music, games or test revision. I will firstly find out what their goals are and according to what deadlines so I can make a structured plan to ensure they get where they want to be. I will then assess their level of Spanish by finding out how much they already know starting from the basics and make it fun by finding out their likes, dislikes and hobbies to keep them interested in every lesson! My aim will be to improve their writing, speaking and listening skills by planning classes with new and relevant topics so that they are always learning new content and revising the old as they progress to higher levels.

Perfect! I have been having lessons since October and they have been very helpful for some extra teaching alongside my A-Level Spanish. I am able to practice all aspects of my Spanish exam and I feel much more comfortable in my speaking. Highly recommend!

Lauren is an experienced ESL teacher, having graduated from university and taught in Spanish schools. She is highly skilled and dedicated, and is a credit to any potential student!
