About Julio César
I'm a Spanish guy studying Biological Sciences at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
After having lived in Spain, Canada, Northern Ireland and Scotland for some years I have had the chance to make friends all around the world and develop my interest in other cultures, travel and languages.
I speak English and Spanish fluently, advanced French and I'm learning Arabic and Mandarin Chinese.
Learning so many varied languages has allowed me to identify the best methods to teach a language. I will introduce students to or further their knowledge of Spanish, helping students become and remain motivated. I will help them pass exams and also provide the tools that will allow them to advance through the various proficiency levels to reach fluency in any language.
I have been tutoring Spanish students for 3 years now. I have tutored students studying both Spanish GCSE and A-Level in the UK. The tutoring involved preparation for Oral, Listening, Reading and Writing exams, introducing students to new vocabulary and having conversation classes to increase their confidence and make their spoken Spanish more natural. They found the lessons very useful and I was thanked by their teachers who noticed an improvement in the students.

I like to have relaxed and informal classes where we will try to only speak in English. We will cover the necessary content, but I will try to challenge students with extra vocabulary or give some tips on easy things that can be done to increase their proficiency.
