About Jinna
As a native Spanish speaker who had to learn the language myself after moving to the U.S. as a child, I understand firsthand what it feels like to learn a new language and adapt to a new culture. That personal journey allows me to connect deeply with my students and create lessons that are not only effective, but also relatable and encouraging. I bring not only years of teaching experience, but also the empathy and perspective of a language learner. I design my classroom environment and lessons with that in mind — using strategies that work, breaking down language barriers, and helping students gain confidence every step of the way. I’m here not just to teach Spanish, but to help students feel capable, inspired, and excited to speak it.

Hola! I am a dedicated and certified Spanish educator with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Spanish and Secondary Education, acquired in New York. I bring a strong background in language instruction, having taught both middle and high school students in New York and currently teaching high school in Florida. With over eight years of experience in the classroom and additional experience tutoring adults part-time, I create engaging, culturally rich lessons that inspire a love for the Spanish language. My teaching style blends academic rigor with real-world communication, helping students of all ages succeed and gain confidence in their language skills.
