About Rosamund
I have teaching experience since 2013 in language schools in Spain, as well as a year working as a self-employed teacher in Barcelona. Now, I am based in the UK as a freelance tutor of both Spanish and EFL. As well as having plenty of teaching experience, I also know what it is like to be a learner of a foreign language. I studied both French and Spanish at University for my Undergraduate degree, completed a Master's in General Linguistics at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, and spent 13 years perfecting my Spanish in Galicia and Catalonia. During this time, I also took Galician and Catalan classes.

I conduct a Needs Assessment and Speaking Test with each new student in order to gauge what they need from my classes. Together, the student and I create a tailored learning plan for our lessons, with a focus on communication and vocabulary building, and the appropriate balance between accuracy and fluency.
