My approach at tutoring Spanish starts creating a comfortable learning environment speaking in Spanish as much as possible since day one!

For adults, I bring in real-life scenarios, conversation practice, and cultural curiosities that make learning both useful and enjoyable!
I use a mix of techniques tailored to each student/age/level: conversation practice, role-playing, listening activities, Q&A, and more structured work if it’s required. I also like to recommend and talk about authentic Spanish materials like cultural videos, readings, music, movies… to connect language with life and culture and make learning more real!

For little ones, i love making Spanish fun through games, stories, and creative activities, while at the same time building vocabulary, structure, and language skills.

I also offer small group Spanish lessons for couples, siblings or groups of friends who would like to learn together.

The typical length of the lessons depends on the age group and level of the student. For children, lessons usually range from 45 to 60 minutes, depending on focus and willingness, while adult lessons can be an hour or longer if requested.

I design my lessons to suit each student level, from complete beginners to bilingual speakers. My first class is always an introduction, where we get to know each other, assess the level, and decide together on your goals and how you would the lessons be structured.

  • 1) Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn?

I speak Spanish fluently because it is my mother tongue language. Being Spanish and moving abroad shaped the way I think, feel and express myself. Teaching Spanish is my way of keeping me connected to my country and my community, while opening up this beautiful world to others.
  • 2) Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language’s culture?

I choose Frida Kahlo. To me, she represents the courage, colour, emotion and creativity that live at the heart of Hispanic culture. Her voice doesn’t whisper, speaks fiercely and honestly about identity, love, family and belonging. Frida reminds us that Spanish isn’t just a language you speak… it’s a language you feel.
  • 3) Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behavior in the language that you particularly like?

I really like the expression “¡Qué ilusión!”. It carries hope, excitement and joy all in one. Spanish has this magical ability to turn emotions into language! and this phrase captures that perfectly.
  • 4) Why does speaking this language matter to you?

Spanish matters to me because it’s not just a tool of communication, it is part of my identity. Every time I teach it, I get to share cultural values, historical knowledge, country facts and curiosities, not only rules and vocabulary. Watching someone discover the culture and richness of Spanish for the first time is one of the most rewarding feelings for me.
  • 5) What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

I feel that the biggest obstacle it’s confidence. Learners are often afraid to speak in case they make mistakes. But mistakes are proof that we are learning and trying. The secret is feeling safe, supported, celebrated and encouraged. I always encourage trying and talking in my lessons, as the goal is to learn not to be perfect!
  • 6) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.

When I moved abroad for the first time, I suddenly became “the Spanish girl .” People wanted to learn words, songs, phrases, anything. I realised then that my language was a bridge, it brought people together, sparked conversations and created connection. That moment changed me, and it’s one of the reasons I chose to become a teacher: I want my lessons to make children feel connected, capable and proud.
  • 7) How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?

Travelling through different Spanish-speaking places showed me that Spanish isn’t one voice, it’s many. Every country, region and community brings its own rhythm, humour, food, music and expressions. That diversity is what I bring into my teaching. Spanish isn’t just grammar, it’s culture, colour, people, history and life!
  • 8) What makes you a Superprof in language?

I’m a Superprof because I don’t just teach Spanish, I share my love for teaching. I’m a qualified primary teacher who knows how to make people feel safe, confident and excited to learn. My lessons are creative, warm and filled with laughter, games, conversation and real meaning. I treat every student as a unique learner, and I celebrate their progress every step of the way.

My mission is simple: for every student to finish a lesson feeling happier, braver and more in love with Spanish than when they started!
