About Anya
Having studied Spanish since Year 9, it is a language that I love and am extremely passionate about. I would like to continue studying Spanish in the future and maybe even live in Spain! However, I know that languages can be difficult and aren’t always taught in a way that is easy to understand. I have tutored in Maths, Spanish, History and science in person and have loved seeing my students progress and helping them to increase their self-confidence in skills that most of the time they already have and just need some help to realise! I find that a lot of the time with tutoring it can be most useful to recap and explain key examples, techniques and strategies as especially for GCSEs this is mainly what exam boards are testing on. Moreover, I am happy to help students make resources and also explain content in a way which works best for their learning style. Every student is different and so I think it is really important to try and look at different teaching methods and adapt my sessions where I can to try and make them as fun and engaging as possible.
