About Rachel
I graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2015 with a Spanish major with honors. I completed a year abroad in Lima, Peru and traveled throughout South America during that year, and then I returned to Peru after I graduated college and worked in Peru for a year. I have also travelled and spent time in Mexico and Spain, so I am familiar with many different varieties of Spanish. I have taught in elementary schools and as a teaching assistant at the University of Georgia, and have also done private tutoring for years. I am a responsive teacher who cares deeply about her students.

I cater my lessons to each individual student based on your needs and learning style. If you are open to it, we can do our lessons entirely in Spanish, or we can conduct lessons in English depending on your needs and comfort level. I like to include a lot of cultural elements in lessons, so expect songs, video clips, short writing samples, etc. that are in Spanish originally. A typical lesson will have many different elements to it and we will work on all aspects of language learning including listening, reading, writing and speaking. I can teach to all levels of Spanish including university level.
