About Ángela
As stated before, I'm a native Spanish speaker and that is because I'm (you guessed it!) from Spain, more specifically from Madrid (the capital). I have a passion for learning languages (I learnt English by myself and now I'm learning Portuguese and Japanese). I'm also a geek for my own mother tongue, and that's why I'm always interested in learning new things about it, there's never too much learning. I also love sharing my culture and teaching other people how to speak Spanish (I always try to convince my international friends about picking it up).

Through my classes I aim to teach Spanish in a dynamic way that is pleasant and interesting for the student, so that it will make learning easier and more entertaining. That is why the lessons take on a more "informal" approach, with less grammar books and more watching videos, reading texts and striking up conversation. That being said, in lower levels of Spanish this might prove difficult so in those cases we will make more use of the book. I'm also a firm defender of full immersion, and because of that the lessons are fully in Spanish (then again, depending on the level and having into account the preference of the student). Besides Spanish, I also love sharing my culture, so students will also get to learn about the Spanish culture(s): did you know Spain is a multicultural country and that more than one language are officially spoken (depending on the territory)?
