About Michael
At school, I was elected 'Don of Spanish', making me the student representative of the subject. This role included tutoring younger years and hosting activities like 'Spanish Film Club' etc.
My aim was often to develop the confidence of my students and inspire them, which would very often lead to a high grade in their exams and a happier time in lessons.

My teaching is primarily aimed at students from beginner level to GCSE but am happy to help with students wanting to improve at any level.
My approach to learning is to make sure that the student is having a fun, stimulating time. I am a strong believer in the Pomodoro technique; with some of my students I encourage them to take regular short breaks between intensive 25 minute bursts of learning. Other students -however- prefer to fill the time with steady constant concentration and work.
