About Poppy
I have always loved languages because, in my opinion, learning from other cultures is an invaluable and exciting experience! I want to give my students the opportunity not only to improve their language skills, but also to gain this passion for languages. During my time as a class assistant for young singing students I discovered how rewarding teaching can be, and I can't wait to teach students the subject I love while simultaneously helping them succeed in their academic goals!

Book a class with me to discuss your problem areas of Spanish, your main goals and a plan of action for our tutoring journey to help you not only improve your Spanish skills but also enjoy the language like me! This plan could involve creating games to play together to memorise vocabulary, set up a routine of weekly grammar tests with me at the start of each lesson, or even just speaking to one another in Spanish for an hour to immerse yourself in the language. I used to be a class assistant at a singing school, during which time I learnt how to teach students to work hard and push past their procrastination. These skills, as well as the fact that I was only recently a GCSE and A-Level student myself, make me the perfect tutor for students going through these extremely stressful exams!
