About Ruth
I have a BA hons degree in Spanish and Latin American studies and love sharing my passion for Spanish language and culture with others.
I have worked as a Spanish teacher for 19 years and helped both children and adults exceed their target grades at GCSE.
What I love most is inspiring a love of languages in students and building confidence in their own ability. Through the use of language learning techniques they see the impossible become possible!
I also have a Masters in Psychology and a Diploma in integrative Counselling so I love finding the best ways for students to learn and build their self-esteem.

I use accelerated learning and brain friendly learning techniques based on psychological research, to help students learn Spanish efficiently, while enjoying the process.
Classes are 25/50 mins long and are aimed at children in years 9-11, preparing for GCSE or adults wanting an intermediate level of fluency in Spanish.
I focus on empowering students to manipulate language themselves. As well as Spanish language and culture I teach the MFL mindset needed to succeed in language learning.
