About Alexis
Hello! My name is Alexis, and I am an online bilingual Spanish tutor with over three years of experience in the translation sector. I hold a degree in Translation Studies with a focus on the Spanish language, and I am currently working as an account manager, looking after accounts in Spain. My passion for the Spanish language began at a young age. I grew up in Spain submerged in the language and culture, before moving to the UK. As I pursued my studies in Translation, I gained an in-depth understanding of the language, grammar, and syntax. I started my career as a translator, working with a variety of clients across different industries, including marketing, technology, and healthcare. This experience gave me a unique insight into the different nuances of the Spanish language and how it is used in different contexts. After a few years, I transitioned into my current role as an account manager, where I am responsible for managing relationships with our clients in Spain. However, my passion for sharing my love of the Spanish language has never waned. As an online bilingual Spanish tutor, I enjoy helping students of all levels improve their language skills. Whether you are a beginner just starting out, or an advanced student looking to refine your skills, I can help you achieve your goals. I base my classes on real life use. I will base it around what the student likes to learn and talk about. This way we can keep a high engagement, and you learn to talk in Spanish about what you like to talk about. As well as this, there will be grammar work and conversation work. I believe that there should be a 50/50 split between both parts in order to achieve the best Spanish possible

Alexis is a brilliant teacher. He is very patient and he catered the lessons to my needs which helped the information to stick. I have tried to learn in the past with non native Spanish teachers but it never seemed to work for me. His fluency in both languages was a real help! I would definitely recommend him!
