I've known Martia for several years and can confidently say she is kind, reliable, and great at explaining difficult concepts clearly. She genuinely cares about helping others learn and would always create a supportive environment. She is particularly skilled at English language and literature. Highly recommended as a tutor!

Martia is a warm, approachable tutor who takes the time to understand her students’ needs. Her experience in secondary education, speaking a 2nd language herself, and cultural awareness allow her to connect with and support a wide range of learners. She creates a confident, encouraging space where students feel heard and motivated to reach their goals.

Martia is a wonderfully warm person who takes time to really understand the needs of her students. She is highly qualified and has experience teaching in secondary schools. She makes you feel confident and gently encourages you towards your goals.

I first met Martia at the Edinburgh Fringe where she was performing her sell out one woman show. The ability to hold the attention of an audience in an hour long monologue is the exact same quality she brings to her tutoring, she is engaging, patient , not to mention highly qualified and has that innate ability to make even the mundane seem captivating..

I would 100% recommend Martia! She's understanding, patient, and always willing to answer any questions I have. Martia is really knowledgeable and encouraging and makes her lessons very engaging.
