About Katie
I am 22 years old, and a current undergraduate at UCL, studying Spanish and Russian. My third year is spent across Tallinn and Madrid where I am continuing my language studies. I have always had a passion for languages, achieving A*s in both Spanish and French at GCSE. Studying languages at university has helped me realise the best techniques and approaches that make language learning more effective, and I would love to pass these on to students who are working towards their own language goals. I also have over three years of experience coaching recreational and squad gymnastics to athletes aged 4-18. This has given me experience working with young people and adapting my teaching style to different ages and abilities.

Hi! I would love to help you on your journey to learn Spanish, whether you are looking to learn the basics, or preparing for exams, I am happy to help. I have over four years of experience tutoring both family and family friends for Spanish and all subjects included in the 11+.
I have a passion for languages, currently studying Spanish and Russian at UCL, and learning Norwegian as a hobby. I believe that language learning is most effective when it is engaging and immersive, so I focus on reading, listening, useful sentences and expressions, alongside vocabulary and grammar.
My lessons usually last 50 minutes and can be tailored to each student, from complete beginners looking to develop their confidence in the language to students preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations. I aim to make lessons supportive, enjoyable and adapted to each student's individual learning style and goals.
