About Marcus
I’m an experienced secondary school teacher specializing in English, History, and Irish. My background includes a BA in History and English Literature, a Máistreacht Ghairmiúil san Oideachas (PME), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Irish. I’m currently teaching Irish in a secondary school, and having also taught in Gaelcholáistí, I’ve seen firsthand what works best when mastering the language.
I firmly believe that the absolute best way to learn a language is to speak it! Because of that, my approach is completely immersive—I teach through Irish, putting a massive emphasis on the spoken language. My goal is to break down the barrier of fear and help you build the genuine confidence you need to chat naturally and ace your exams.
Since no two students learn the same way, my online grinds are entirely responsive to your individual needs. We go at your pace, focusing on what you actually need help with in a relaxed, supportive digital classroom.
