Olá! My name is Aida, and welcome to authentic Brazilian Portuguese.
As a native Brazilian born and raised in Brazil, Portuguese is my culture, my passion, and my native tongue. Living in Orlando, Florida, after 10 years in the United States has given me a deep understanding of American culture, time zones, and everyday communication styles.
Whether we meet in-person at a local library or coffee shop in Orlando or online via webcam, my lessons offer a supportive, professional, and stress-free environment where you can build genuine confidence. I look forward to guiding you on your journey!

Como brasileira nata, nascida e criada no Brasil, o português é minha cultura, minha paixão e minha língua materna. Morar em Orlando, Flórida, após 10 anos nos Estados Unidos, me deu uma profunda compreensão da cultura americana e do estilo de comunicação do dia a dia.
Minha filosofia de ensino é baseada na imersão natural total. Acredito que a maneira mais rápida e eficaz de aprender o português brasileiro é vivenciando o idioma diretamente. Com paciência, recursos visuais, simulações da vida real e repetição guiada, ajudo os alunos a pararem de traduzir na mente e começarem a pensar em português desde a primeira aula.

First 10 Minutes: Warm-up conversation about your week to build immediate confidence and practice everyday greetings.
Next 20 Minutes: Focus on a specific real-world scenario (e.g., ordering food, traveling, family topics, or asking for directions) using pictures and simple vocabulary.
Next 20 Minutes: Interactive speaking practice where you do most of the talking using guided prompts and role-play exercises.
Final 10 Minutes: Review of new vocabulary learned during the session and a simple practice activity for our next meeting.
My Approach & Teaching Method
My teaching approach is based on 100% natural immersion. Because Portuguese is my native language, our lessons focus on listening, speaking, and thinking in Portuguese from day one—without relying on English translations.
I use visual guides, real-life props, body language, images, and repetition to make every concept clear and natural. You will learn Portuguese the same way native speakers do: through real interaction, context, and immediate practice. My goal is to help you stop translating in your head and start speaking with confidence.
