About Sara
I have 3 years experience teaching a self contained multi-grade classroom. I am excellent at identifying and modifying behaviors, creating trusting relationships and creating a unique and individual learning environment. I have over a decade of experience with education, early childhood and adults with disabilities. I Can help with specific subjects, life/community skills, behavior modification, animal therapy and much more. located on a isolated farm with endless opportunities here and in your home to access interests and experiences rarely found on school grounds. I strongly encourage guardian participation and guidance for all tutoring but it is necessary for any IEP's. I can offer assistance in tutoring/ working with guardians to create and prepare curriculum and data tracking for their children that require basic life and behavioral skills in their own home.

My approach is very personal. I put in a lot of effort to establish trust and build a relationship. Once I have an understanding of my students than my methods are decided based on their individual needs. I utilize basic drill and repeat to elaborate role play to engage and educate students with exceptional needs. I am very flexible and good at maintaining a constant state of reassessing and adjusting to evolving needs and interruptions including medical. I am very open minded and have a long list of interests and experiences I pull from.
