About Jamie
I am a parent with 3 children of my own. I have 2 children who are differently abled, and watching them struggle and work towards their goals has been a passion of mine. I have been working in education for over 25 years, with the last 15 or so in special education. I love my job of teaching and helping each student improve their skills. Each child can achieve, and it is up to the educator to teach in a way that supports how they learn and to be adaptable.

I individualize lessons for each student as they work on skills that need practice, whether it is literacy skills like pronunciation, phonics, or answering wh-questions, or learning to quantify numerals and count with manipulatives in simple math equations for adding, subtracting, skip counting, and identifying shapes.
