About Percy
I am what many people consider an energised person. After graduating in psychology, I did my master's and have now moved on to doing a second degree with a focus in law and politics.
Despite having ADHD and dyslexia myself, I have found tactics and techniques to engage in academics and thrive being a straight A* student. If I had to say what my teaching philosophy is, I would say it’s an individualistic approach with a focus on question-building engagement.
I am also a massive rugby and cycling fan.

About the lesson

I focus on breaking down how history and religion are commonly understood, such as key events and how standards of sourcing change dependent on the time period being focused on or the religion in question (i.e. Hadith vs CSN). Though history and politics go hand in hand, I do not give personal opinions on historical events as I believe education should be free from ideological interference.
A typical lesson will be 1 hour. Topics being covered, such as the French Revolution, will be 4 sessions in total with at least one practical suggestion (for example, quiz round). The topic may vary in length and my lessons aim to accommodate moderate learning difficulties such as dyslexia and ADHD. To be clear, I am not a psychologist and in cases of severe difficulties, I advise a multi-support based approach.
