About John
Hi, my name is John Dedousis! I recently graduated from Trinity Grammar School in 2022 and completed the IB diploma program with a perfect score of 45/45. Strong 7/7s in all of my subjects allowed me to receive the first ever IBAS of 45.75, earning a perfect ATAR of 99.95. I am currently studying the Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine program at the University of New South Wales and am also a paid casual academic at UNSW. I am passionate about helping high school students reach their potential and enter medicine programs!

I provide specialist tutoring services catered towards IB students within Years 11 and 12, as well as support to students in all other years of high school. The rigorous IB program is a challenging undertaking for any student and with me at your side, I can provide you with invaluable skills from my own lived experience to help guide you through this program. Through this journey, my top priority will be your success and ensuring that you are best equipped to achieve your academic goals.
I recognize that every student learns in distinctive ways, so my approaches to teaching will be personalized towards your individual level of understanding. I really encourage students to get actively involved in these sessions with their own unique questions to get the most out of this experience and I am available even outside of lesson times to assist you in any way possible. Most of all, I look forward to forming strong relationships with my students, watching you develop and grow into your full potential !
Entry Into Medical Programs:
I have extensive experience in navigating entry into medical courses, having gone through this process myself. I achieved a UCAT score of 3360 within the 99th percentile, and I will guide students with unique strategies and insights to help them succeed within the UCAT. I also have extensive medical interview experience as I received interview invitations to 10 medical programs. This includes the University of New South Wales, the University of Sydney, Western Sydney University, the University of Newcastle, the University of Adelaide, Monash University, the University of Queensland, James Cook University, the University of Western Australia and Curtin University. My unique skillset is therefore well-suited towards students who are interested in pursuing medicine within their tertiary studies.
