About Amy
I studied Biology, Chemistry and Psychology at A-level achieving 3 A stars. I am currently at Edinburgh university studying Veterinary Medicine. I have experience tutoring primary and secondary school students requiring a bit of extra help with schoolwork and homework.

I like to ensure a thorough understanding of a topic before moving on. I believe repetition and practice is key to memorising and learning, therefore I like to include lots of examples and practice questions in my sessions. I am also able to help those with dyslexia or slow learners, who may need topics explained in different ways to gain a full understanding. I also like to include practical examples and ways of learning if possible, as I believe this encourages the brain to think in different ways and can make understanding a subject easier.
