About Shovan
Hi! I am Shovan, a passionate Japanese language teacher with JLPT N3 certification, currently pursuing JLPT N2. I love teaching beginners and helping them start their Japanese journey from zero. My focus is on simple, step-by-step explanations that are easy to understand. I have experience guiding students through Hiragana, Katakana, basic grammar, vocabulary, and speaking practice.
I enjoy making lessons interactive and fun, even for absolute beginners, anime lovers, or working adults. My teaching approach is simple, structured, and beginner friendly. I focus on helping students understand Japanese step by step from zero level, even if they have no previous knowledge. I explain Hiragana, Katakana, pronunciation, vocabulary, and basic grammar in a very clear and slow way so students never feel confused.
A typical class starts with a quick revision of the previous lesson, followed by learning new characters or grammar, guided reading practice, speaking exercises, and short questions for understanding. I always provide notes and practice material so students can revise easily after class.
My special feature as a teacher is patience and clarity. I make lessons comfortable for shy beginners and anime learners, and I encourage students to ask doubts anytime. The goal is not memorization but real understanding and confidence in reading and speaking basic Japanese.
These classes are mainly intended for absolute beginners, JLPT N5 students, school or college learners, working professionals, and anyone who wants to start learning Japanese from home.
