About Jasper
I am a French tutor with over 3 years of experience and a Master’s in French Language and Literature focused on Francophone culture. I love working with complete beginners, and my lessons are designed to be both patient and fun. Humor plays a big part in my approach because laughter makes learning less intimidating. I use hobbies like gardening, painting, and knitting as the framework for teaching French. When language connects to something you already enjoy, it sticks more easily. My lessons use project-based activities to apply vocabulary in meaningful ways. Visual aids and real-life examples make learning concrete. We also use simple narratives to explore grammar in everyday contexts. Over time, you’ll gain confidence in describing your favorite hobbies in French.
