About Sherry
I am a recent graduate of Florida State University and an upcoming Doctor of Optometry student at The Ohio State University. During my time at FSU, I built a strong foundation in chemistry and the sciences, while also gaining valuable hands-on laboratory experience and developing effective study strategies for mastering complex material. I also served as a tutor and teaching assistant at the university level, where I learned how to break down difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps.
My experience has shaped a patient, understanding-focused teaching style that emphasizes true comprehension over memorization. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in chemistry by connecting concepts to real understanding and practical application. I primarily work with high school and college-level students in general and organic chemistry who want to improve grades, strengthen fundamentals, and succeed in their coursework.
