About Lia
Hi, I'm Lia, and I'm passionate about helping others feel more confident in maths. I've always enjoyed maths because I love problem-solving and the sense of achievement that comes from understanding something challenging. I want to teach because I know that maths can be difficult and stressful for a lot of students, and I want to help make it feel more manageable and less intimidating. I enjoy working with people, explaining concepts in different ways, and seeing someone's confidence grow over time. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

Maths can be really frustrating when something just doesn't click, and that's exactly why I want to help. I'm patient, understanding, and I explain things in a way that's easy to follow without making anyone feel embarrassed for not understanding something straight away. I can help with homework, exam preparation, or just building confidence in maths overall. My aim isn't just to help students get better grades, but also to help them feel more comfortable and confident when approaching maths questions. I'll always work at a pace that suits the student and make sure they fully understand a topic before moving on.
