About Maisie
My name is Maisie and I’m from Manchester. I’m currently about to start my 4th year studying physics at the university of Oxford.
At A-level i studied maths, further maths and physics and obtained an A* in all 3 subjects.
I am keen to tutor Physics and maths as I have a genuine enthusiasm for both subjects and have loved studying physics at degree level. I would love to help others succeed in an area that I’m deeply interested in.

I am able to be flexible depending on which areas the student wants most help. If there are bits of content you find difficult I am able to go through and explain. I can also go through problems and past paper questions using an online white board.
Where a student has specific questions I’m able to do question and answer lessons but I can equally teach whole topics if there are specific areas you find tricky.
In studying physics and maths I also think it is important to be aware of the small details and nuances that examiners may use to trip you up. I am able to explain these parts of the theory and also find past paper questions that highlight these areas so as to best prepare you for an exam.
Overall, I am happy to mould the style of a lesson to suit whatever each student will find most helpful.
