I offer hour-long lessons which can either be directed by the student, where you bring me what you are struggling with and we tackle these issues head on together, or you can tell me what you are studying and I can look into your syllabus and prepare structured lessons around this to best prepare you for examination.
I am working towards a degree in English Literature, specialising in Modern Drama. I have been tutoring pupils from primary school up to A Level for over a year, helping them to achieve the best grade they can and develop a love for English.
Over the past few years, it has undeniably proven difficult to combine academic studies with a part-time job alongside mental health struggles. However despite this, during my final year of college I excelled in the role of sales assistant at PEP&CO (Eastleigh) with increasing responsibility and positive feedback whilst simultaneously achieving the highest English Literature A Level grade in the student cohort with the Eduqas exam board.
Since a young age, I have had the desire to be financially independent, which has resulted in part-time employment from thirteen, starting with a daily paper round, and moving on to corporate hospitality and retail. This has helped me to develop interpersonal skills and a sense of responsibility.
I am an outgoing individual and acting since the age of eight has given me the confidence to actively engage in local politics in my free time, enabling me to communicate with new people regularly, and the passion for musical theatre, whether it be performing at amateur dramatic societies or travelling to London’s West End. I believe that my combination of experience, interests and unwavering drive equip me with an exceptional ability to perform in a workplace setting and the flexibility to thrive in challenging environments.
